Kevin D. Banks
Kevin leads the development and integration of advanced geospatial technologies for nuclear facility characterization, decommissioning and demolition (D&D), environmental remediation, and waste management.
Kevin brings more than 18 years of nuclear-industry experience, including nuclear engineering, nondestructive assay (NDA), radiological material characterization, D&D, and U.S. Department of Energy operations. His career includes extensive experience supporting the remediation and decommissioning mission at the former Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon, Ohio.
As CTO, Kevin combines his nuclear experience with LiDAR, photogrammetry, Esri ArcGIS, robotics, artificial intelligence, spatial analytics, and advanced modeling to transform complex facility data into actionable intelligence. As a licensed drone pilot, he also brings practical knowledge of aerial data acquisition to B&A’s geospatial capabilities. His focus is helping DOE and nuclear-industry stakeholders improve facility characterization, quantify materials, reduce personnel exposure, understand project risk, and make informed, defensible decisions throughout the D&D lifecycle.
Outside of his professional work, Kevin enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, boating, singing, and playing piano. Whether on the water, on the golf course, or making music, he values opportunities to spend time with the people who matter most and enjoy life outside of work.
Stephen “Joe” Morris
Joe leads the company’s business operations and helps translate its technical capabilities into sustainable commercial and government solutions.
Joe is responsible for business strategy, contract management, quality assurance, compliance, business development support, and overall operational execution. He works closely with the technical team to establish the processes, partnerships, and business infrastructure necessary to move innovative geospatial technologies from development into successful customer applications.
With more than 15 years of experience in quality assurance, federal program oversight, regulatory compliance, and organizational leadership, Joe brings a disciplined approach to managing risk, meeting customer and contractual requirements, and positioning B&A Geospatial Intelligence for long-term growth.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, recreational shooting, and firing up the grill or smoker for a good barbecue. He values time outdoors, good food, and the opportunity to relax with family and friends.
